1. John H Carson b 05-28-1802 Scotland Came to Platte in 1846, landing at Weston June 15th. For years he was a colporteur of the Tract Society, and he fell dead 11-14-1878, while delivering a Bible to a purchaser, with the half-uttered sentence, "I must do all the good I can while--". He married in Scotland, 8-12-1834. Mr. Fulcher owned Frances E. Fulcher Video Co., which made industrial videos of construction sites throughout the Philadelphia area. He was a former operating engineer who was a member of Local 542. An Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War, Mr. Fulcher was a Mason and past master of Solomon Lodge 3. He also was a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Philadelphia. Survivors: none. Services: viewing, 10 a.m. Thursday, DiPinto-Mehl Funeral Home, 5720 Rising Sun Ave.; Masonic services at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home; funeral, 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Church of St. James the Less, 3227 W. Clearfield St.; burial in the church cemetery. |
